Graces school paper
Read carefully:
I HATE E.T. Becus He is Skare. (scary)
Not bad for the first week of kindergarten.
Apparently the aide in her class doesn't like ET either.
Grace hasn't even SEEN ET! My mom tried to take her on the ET ride at Universal Studios, but Grace wouldn't go. I DO think she's a bit young for the movie. And considering it's her dad's favorite, I think I'm going to let HIM watch it with her.

It's not that unusual that Grace would be scared of ET, didn't you say that she had a really hard time at Universal in general and that a lot of things there frightened her. If she saw the ET movie at your house, it would remind her of the trip to Universal. I agree- have DH watch it with her, but make sure he has lots of Recese peanuts with him :)
